Original Faith: A Few Book-Related Items

This low-traffic holiday week is great for doing chores associated with a book launch – and it’s been a lot of fun having some of you run into Original Faith becoming available here on the site.

Some of you have asked if I’d sign your copy. Wish I could. Main obstacle is that I can’t mail things myself, so it would be added work for someone already out straight with doing things for me.

Some have asked if I’ll keep blogging – definitely.

I’ll be very interested in reactions to the book and welcome your feedback, either via this blog or email. I can’t answer all email but will certainly read it all and will answer as much as I can.

If you like the book, please recommend it to someone and pass on my URL. This would be especially useful in helping Original Faith find a readership in my circumstances.

Next up: Starting to think about love…

Paul,

The book shipped out to the Netherlands last night. Would you consider making a banner which we can use to forward traffic to your site?

TO ALL from PAUL: Just time for a quick note... a "home health aide" day and again Friday, and lots to do on the book front for at least through the weekend and maybe next week...

Just to say how great it is seeing acquaintances old and new, here and in email. I really value your support and hope (and do believe) that the book has something to contribute to anyone that reads it.

If it takes you 25 years of your life to write something and it doesn’t do that, well then, you know you just have to sit down and start over again.

Paul,

I am so proud of you!! Congratulation on your publication. I will be ordering it tonight from Target.

Would you mind if I shared your book publication, via posting an acknowledgement and announcement on my blog?

Take care!!

KERRY, thanks so much, that would be great.

On Target: if you get a "page cannot be displayed," it's not a problem with the link on my site, it's their site, so the problem should be corrected soon if it isn't already...

So...Target is currently out of stock...OUTSTANDING!!! I am on a waiting list...How cool is that???LOL.

KERRY, thanks - but now you have to wait... and so for others...

"Why wait for Target when you can order it on Amazon today!"

(Too salesy...?)

But Target should have it soon, I think they and Amazon have some kind of relationship -

Paul: I trotted over to Borders and placed an order there, too...I am so NOT patient!! - LOL.

I am spreading the word of your achievement every where i go...

KERRY - What have you got against Amazon, lol! No wait, fast delivery, largest online bookseller...

But you've got me curious: what did they tell you at Borders? They took your special order? I think it may be like a month before they can fulfill it - I think it will take at least a few more weeks for the book to get into the computer system book stores use for that.

I really appreciate your enthusiasm - and really look forward to your reaction as a reader. Until Oprah calls, ha ha, I think the book's best chance at finding readers is people who liked it telling others.

Thanks again --

I cannot place my hesitation with Amazon, but you're are right, there is indeed a person "unknown" adversion to Amazon.com...lol. I will tell my therapist about this block, she will add it to the list...lol.

Forget Oprah--you need to dream big here, i think you should aim for Ellen!! ;) *LMAO*

um...borders took the book order. they said the would have to research its availibility, and then order it from there...

amazon, ey? hm...

KERRY, your feedback's been helpful. Between you and others, so far Target's been confusing.

And from what I'm hearing now, even after it becomes available by special order in book stores it won't be available that way from Target stores - only online from Target.com.

Which now has the cover but still says not it stock...

Amazon's way better so far...
