Love makes…

Love makes others as fully real to us as we are to ourselves.

From Chapter One, Original Faith: What Your Life Is Trying to Tell You.

For most of my life, other people were the only thing that felt "real" to me, that there was something deeper there than what we usually experience of this world.

It also seemed that my idea of reality was way off from the "normal". But looking at it through the eyes of love, it makes sense.

That's a great insight, Paul -- and very true. Thanks for stopping by my blog the other day!

Oh, I also updated the links on the blog and forum with your book's new subtitle: What Your Life is Trying to Tell You.

Dunno how I missed it for so long, but it's corrected now!

firebird: That's a similar "revelation" if you will to what I've been experiencing lately -- like a "hiding in plain sight" secret. God *is* love. If we start our various quests through religions and philosophies surrounding a higher power with that understanding -- God is love -- things start to make a whole lot more sense!

FIREBIRD, TIMJAMZ, VISHESH: I appreciate the different angles you have on this. For myself (which is clearer in the context of the chapter), I primarily had in mind the contrast between how we see others and behave toward them when we view them from love's perspective rather than ego's. Tim, thanks for updating the cover.

Absolutely -- i would say...
i see myself in parts, compartmentalised-- all are a part of a real me...and when each part meets an identical in someone else..they seem so real to me..and in the virtual world i met some few, i would say...

Firebird..You, from the 'faith' aspect..are good examples..

few others too..i make me feel them so real as me, that i find it difficult to leave this world..in these days i often felt..i should leave fully...

i do not know if others also see me real as themselves..and that is holding me back...

just my thoughts there...

We are all fully real in spirit, and when we meet that in someone else, there doesn't need to be any other dimension...as long as words are adequate to express our thoughts and feelings.

Which they're not, but then, we're human, aren't we?

firebird's last comment made me smile and laugh at once...

makes me wonder -- what am 'I'...
Scriptures say the final answer likes in seeking 'Who am I' --

but, here am I -- seeking what am I!!

flesh, blood and a living spirit!?

but, i keep wondering about the basic questions of life and nature :)

wishes!

Paul: ah, good point! I updated the graphic as well.

firebird: my first icon was a dog, then a "me," now a hawk... I keep evolving!

TIM, then thanks again, lol... I'd noticed the old subtitle still on your cover picture back along and I misread that that's what you'd updated on your previous message. Changing subtitles is a pain...
