Spiritual Streamlining

Streamline the process. Get over it -- whatever it is – in no more time than it has to take. No lingering.

Learn how to get to, “What’s done is done” – or you will be finished given enough misfortune.

Enter the larger room each time, closing the door behind you.

Seems like a good way to move on, to get on with life, if you will. Forward motion, wherever it takes us. I like the idea of entering the larger room, with more to see and discover.

On the Way. Just do it (everyone seems to have forgotten the original source, Abbey Hoffman...that part troubles me..."followers" always screw things up!)

JOANNE: thanks, that's the kind of thing I had in mind.

SCOTT HANKINS: I don't follow your references; my personal reference is year sixteen of an incurable illness that's seen me lose one physical ability/form of independence after another.

I've gotten really good at moving on just to survive. I wish I'd been half as efficient at that when I was healthy, and I think that the more efficiently we can do the necessary processing of our losses without getting caught up in added grief or resentment - sometimes for years at a time - the better.

SCOTT, thanks for the clarification. It can be hard enough communicating in this subject area in person. I've often noticed how online communications can be especially hard to interpret due to the lack of information that we normally get through tone of voice/body language.

Good advice, Paul. Easier said than done sometimes, when faced with people or situations that constantly dredge up the past.

Good advice, nonetheless!
